We started by studying how blood pressure can be measured reliably without an inflatable cuff. The goal from day one was medical-grade accuracy in a form factor that fits on your finger — no compromise on precision, comfort or everyday usability.

Advanced materials, a minimalistic architecture and highly integrated components are packed into a device smaller than your fingertip. Every trace, battery cell and connector was chosen to save space while preserving signal quality and battery life.

A Shape Memory Alloy wire system is engineered to create gentle, controlled mechanical pressure. The patented actuation is completely silent, fast to reset and durable enough to deliver thousands of cuff-free readings over the device's lifetime.

A custom compact force sensor combines exceptional sensitivity to small forces with the accuracy needed for blood pressure estimation. It captures the subtle pressure wave produced by the SMA mechanism in real time with clinical precision.

Siiring is an affordable, low-profile finger-worn blood pressure monitor that uses smart-metal technology instead of inflatable cuffs.
The grant funds clinical evaluation in low- and middle-income countries to improve early detection of pregnancy-related hypertensive disorders like preeclampsia.
Clinical performance and usability testing are planned for Ghana, Kenya, and India.
The Siiring App is in development — coming soon to iOS and Android. It will turn every 30-second reading into a clear picture of your blood pressure over time.
